Delete your Driftr account

This is the official account and data deletion page for
Driftr (Android package com.teamdriftr.driftr),
published by Team Driftr. You can use it to delete your account and
all associated data, either inside the app or by sending us a request.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:

| Chat conversations with your friends | Immediately, as the friendships are removed |
| Your blocked-users list | Immediately |
| Your sign-in account and push-notification tokens | Immediately |
What may be kept
Safety reports you made, or that were made about you, are kept for safety and moderation purposes. Any chat messages saved as evidence with a report are deleted automatically 90 days after they were saved. See the Privacy Policy for details. Nothing else tied to your account is kept after deletion.
Retention for emailed requests
Deletion from inside the app happens immediately. If you ask us by email or the form below, we will verify the request came from the account's owner and complete the deletion within 30 days, and usually much sooner. We'll email you when it's done.
Option A: Delete in the app
- Open Driftr and sign in.
- Tap the settings icon on the home screen.
- Scroll to the Account section and tap Delete Account.
- Tick both confirmation boxes, type DELETE, and confirm.
Your account and data are deleted immediately and you're signed out.
Option B: Request deletion by email
If you no longer have the app installed, email dan@teamdriftr.com from the email address you signed in to Driftr with, or fill in this form. It opens your email app with the request filled in for you.
